Weet-Bix Tryathlon

Harrison did so well in the Weet-Bix Tryathlon!  Here he is about to enter the water to start.

Swimming (arm up in the air in front of the kid in the black shirt)

Exiting the water… boy was that cap hard to get off!!!

3km bike ride…   Running…  Finished!    Harrison got to meet Bronte Barrett and she signed his shirt :)

Can you spot Harrison’s name on the shirt?

Will is 5!!

Will had a great Birthday!  He had 21 friends come over for a Fire Engine Party and it was REALLY cool!

The invitation…

Daddy decorating the cake the night before.

Not long after everybody arrived we heard a siren and raced around the corner of the house to see what it was…a fire engine!!!

Wow!!!

Everyone got to go for a ride :)

Then we all played some fun games.

We all had a turn at spraying the fire hose and then we got to cool off by running through the spray!

Most of my friends…

Cake time…

Getting ready for school on my real birthday.

I got sooooooo many presents, including a DS Lite – just what I wanted :)

Happy Easter

We hope you all had a lovely Easter – we sure did!

As you can see below our neighbour Denise made us some great Easter goodies!

Even nut free ones for Will :)

The Easter Bunny came around our estate in a hot rod throwing out eggs and hot cross buns!

Auntie Lauren organised us a super Easter hunt.

Then on Easter morning we woke up to find the Easter Bunny had paid us a visit. Will brought out his magnifying glass to help him hunt :)

As you can see we found plenty and even though we started eating them straight away we STILL have some in the fridge!

Tri-time!

Many of our weekends are taken up with Triathlons, it’s lots of fun. Daddy and harry are doing really well and Mummy is inspired to have a go herself!

Harry gets ready to start the swim at the Raby Bay Tri, hanging with his buddies Lachlan and Riley.

Discussing tactics??

Harry and Riley

A sea of heads – take a guess at which one is Harry’s!

Here comes Lachie!

Riley crosses the finish.

Harry is all done!

Smiles all round.

Time to muck around and watch our Dads have their go.

Daddy gives us a wave – note no pics of his swim.  Thanks to the Tsunami warning he had to do a double run and wasn’t overly impressed!

Second lap of the ride.

Second run – almost done.

Done!

What the littlies get up to each time!

Here we are a few weeks later at Kingscliff – a great weekend staying with our cousins in their beautiful house by the beach :)

As you can see the sun was only just coming up as Harry started his swim.

Harry has exited the washing machine and runs up the beach – Mummy of the year forgot her camera so this was taken on her phone.

Harry has just crossed the finish line and bends over to take off his timing band – not to throw up as some thought!

With his medal.

Playing on the beach while waiting for Daddy to come out of his swim.

Daddy runs by. (then mummy’s phone goes flat!)
