Sammy Sam...

As his family we may be biased...but isn't this the dearest little face you have ever seen??

14 ways to have a great 2nd birthday party....

1. First, ask your Mummy and Daddy to stay up late the night before making the cake of your choice (fiddly and time consuming is best, it's also good if you choose one that has an ingredient which is hard to find).

2. Seeing your Mum and Dad went to bed late, try to wake them up earlier than usual to open your birthday presents. If there are any that need assembling insist they do it straight away whilst half asleep.

3. Next, choose your favourite present and use it in combination with the other great love of your life - TV!

4. If possible try to get your hand on the cake before you have even blown out your candles (this way people aren't as keen to eat it and you get more).

5. If anyone tries to stop you eating the party food, grab as much as you can and head for the highest point!

6. Encourage people to assemble tricky gifts by "pretending" to help.

7. Then ride off into the sunset when it gets complicated.

8. Once it is all assembled, come back and have fun playing with it.

9. If your brother tells you to stick your head in a camp fire...don't do it!

10. If you can get a super hero to drop by people will be REALLY impressed.

11. Organise some party games that enable you to laugh at your friends falling down...limbo is a great one!

12. Get as tired and dirty as possible by the end of the day!!

13. Make sure people bring you some really nice cards...

14. Who am I kidding? Forget the cards - bring on the presents!!! Playing with those the next morning is terrific fun.

Autumn is here...

What can I do with all these leaves???

How about this?

Watch out Mum!

How silently they tumble down
And come to rest upon the ground
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care,
Content to sleep, their work well done,
Colors gleaming in the sun.
At other times, they wildly fly
Until they nearly reach the sky.
Twisting, turning through the air
Till all the trees stand stark and bare.
Exhausted, drop to earth below
To wait, like children, for the snow.

No probs Bob... Will and Scoop are on the job!!

Right Scoop - we have a lot of work to do here!

Let's clear out your scoop and then we'll be ready to roll.

I wonder how many leaves we can fit in here?

Just hanging around...

Sam is having great fun learning to jump in his jolly jumper... almost as much fun as we are having watching him!

Happy Easter!

Harrison was in an Easter Parade at school - he made a great job of his hat don't you think?

Nana gave Harrison and Will Bart Simpson masks for Easter...this is what they looked like.

And this was what was underneath!! Yum, yum and as you can see harry was unable to resist it for long!

Will left his dummies out for the Easter Bunny in exchange for some eggs...wonder what the Easter Bunny is going to do with them?

Harrison came up with this inventive way of leaving a carrot for the Easter Bunny.

Will has found his first egg and wasted no time unwrapping it and digging in! Lovely healthy breakfast!

The three boys and their baskets of goodies...look closely and you'll see that the Easter Bunny left some footprints on the carpet!

"Hey Sam, look at the Thomas stamp that the Easter Bunny left in with my Thomas Easter Eggs!" says Will
"Zzzzz" says Sam!
