Bunnysitting...

We had SOOO much fun bunnysitting recently for our cousins...

Will and Dibbles

Harry, Puggles and Dibbles

Dibbles has a drink.

Puggles plans his escape route for later on in the day...Mummy is sure he was laughing as hard as she was at Daddy chasing him round the yard in his PJ's trying to catch him! We aren't sure who was the most worn out....

Puggles and Dibbles just chillin.

Fishing...

Fishing with Dad is so much fun, there's often a catch for everyone.

Here's one for Harry the casting king,

And one for Will who's so happy he could sing!

Being towed behind the boat is great fun, and also great entertainment for everyone!

But the best fun of all for Dad and Harry is waiting for Will to fall asleep.
then when they are sure that his open mouth pose he will keep,
In go all sorts of items for a funny pic and the camera rolls on,
click, click click!

Will did not find it too amusing!

A Day Out...

Back when it was winter (yes thank goodness its gone!!) we took a trip down the coast for the day. It was a public holiday for all of us except Will who still had to go to Kindy. Harry and Sam had a great time at the beach, playing mini golf and catching up with their cousins Zach and Rose. We even spotted some whales!

Yes, more guinea pigs!

Yes you are reading this correctly and it is NOT a typo...we have 11 guinea pigs at our house!

Meet Moppet, we are fostering her and she is expecting babies any day! After that she and her babies will go up for adoption and she will retire to become a lady of leisure :)

This is Truffle... she's just a baby and very very cute!

This is Scarlet and Ruby.

Style

If you are going to sit back and do some reading be sure to get comfy on your Mum and Dad's bed, strip down to undies and a nappy and don't forget your hat!

Sports Day 2008

Harrison's Sports Day was held recently at school...

Here he is ready to run.

Running as fast as he can...

Sam cheered him on!

and hooray, he came third! Here he is with his ribbon.

Not Forgotten...

5 years ago our babies Riley and Alex went to heaven. Each year on the 11th August we remember them and this year we sent them some balloons and made them a cake so they remember we love them. Harrison wrote them a beautiful letter this year and we tied it to the balloons before we let them go...

The launch...

Up they go...

Harrison and Will decorated this cake for them and enjoyed eating it too!

Time Flies...

About 8 years ago, when Harry was still in Mummy's tummy, Mummy and Daddy made some friends at an ante-natal class. We catch up from time to time to see how we are all growing and recently got together at Lyndall and Ken's house. We had a great time.

The big kids: Jaclyn, Sophie, Eamon and Harrison.

All the brothers and sisters...

and a funny face pic just for fun!
Mia, Eamon, Harrison and Will.

The Park

A few weeks back our cousin Zach came for a sleepover. It was heaps of fun and Mummy learnt that she possibly could handle 4 boys LOL! We went to the park and had a great time playing for ages on this truck.

It's Orange Belt Time!!

Harrison passed his grading for his Orange Belt last week and this week was the presentation.

Harrison and Sensai Hugh.

All the kids who were awarded belts. Harrison is 1st from right, second row.

Harrison, Sensai and the Sempais.

Watch out guys, he'll be a black belt before you know it!!

New Piggies to Love...

Recently we adopted some adult guinea pigs needing homes. We are becoming quite the guinea pig family and have become involved (Mummy and Harry mostly) in ACS (australian cavy sanctuary). It's a volunteer run shelter for guinea pigs and the people there do wonderful things. If you are interested you can check out their website at http://www.australiancavysanctuary.com/
There is also going to be a segment on the sanctuary on EXTRA on channel 9, 9th August.

This is Harrison with "Kozi". He named her this because he thought she looked like a tea cosy. She's a silver agouti rex and came from a breeder who no longer wanted her.

This is Will and "Flo". He named her after the cars character of course! She does have long flowing hair so the name actually suits her well. She came from the same place Kozi did.

The boys and their piggies.

Our newest addition... "Frodo". He is actually Mummy's, but she lets us have lots of cuddles. He is 4.5 months old and Mummy adopted him from ACS. Daddy keeps telling Mummy that we arent opening a shelter LOL!

2 kids and a wild imagination...

Here's Will in the "Jungle Cubby" that he and harry created in Sam's bedroom. They had a great time making it and playing in it, Mummy had an "OK" time cleaning it all up!
