Will didn’t know where to go first when we went into the Mt Panorama Car Museum.

In Dubbo we stayed at the Zoo and did a “Zoofari” program. It was fantastic and we highly recommend it! You go to sleep listening to the animals and get 3 behind the scenes tours (in an air conditioned zebra bus) where you get REALLY close to the animals. There’s a fantastic pool and a really nice dinner and breakfast in the restaurant.
Here is our canvas covered lodge…it really felt like being on safari and was gorgeous inside.

The giraffes were Mummy’s favourite. We had so much fun feeding them carrots.
Luckily for Will they have long tongues and could JUST reach his carrot!
We made friends with the kids staying in the lodge next to ours and here we are in the restaurant after dinner playing in the toy baskets (forget the toys!).
We visited the lions on our night time tour (scary!) and boy can they roar loud! Sam spent the next few days imitating their roar.
Susie the wombat was very sweet.
The next morning we had a tour to do at 7.10am before breakfast. We all slept really well until Mummy opened her eyes, looked at the clock and screamed “get up! its 7.00!” Feeding the Rhinos was definitely worth the rush.
The Galapagos Tortoises were very cool.
The Siamang Apes were really amazing the way they swing from branches to ropes etc without falling.
After the tour we headed for breaky and then it was time to pack the car. Here is Harrison packing two of our most important (and noisy) pieces of luggage.
After we packed the car we hired some bikes so that we could ride around the zoo and spend more time with the animals. Will and Sam definitely had the best ride!

On the drive from Tamworth to Yamba Sam played with his stickers…we thought he was quiet!
We found a gorgeous resort at Yamba that we are going to head back to in November. Here we are at the pool that had lap lanes for Daddy and plenty of things for us to play with.
It has a cool outside kids playground.
And a really fun indoor one!
We really liked all the goldfish in the pond around the restaurant and the breakfast was really yummy too! Sadly Yamba was our last stop before we got home but we had a FANTASTIC holiday!
