babies, babies, babies....

Our guinea pig Snowy finally had her babies...and they are so cute! They were born Sunday 15th June. There are four of them, three boys (of course!) and a girl. Their names are Minipig, Chester, Chick Hicks (formerly known as The King...Will can't make his mind up!) and Sassy. Snowy is a terrific Mummy.

Here they are only a few hours old.

The boys are very excited of course. Mummy took them up to Wills Kindy for his show and tell yesterday and they are visiting Harrison's class on Friday.

Harry and Chester.

Sleeping bubs (they look like marshmallows as Auntie Kita said and we think she's right!).

We dont want them to grow up...but they are already growing so fast.

Channel 7 Helicopter

Harrison was very excited really when 96.5FM broadcast their morning show from his school oval and the Channel 7 helicopter flew in for John Schluter to talk to the children about the weather.

Mummy had to get him to school nice and early as there were lots of fun things happening on the oval. One of those was a jumping castle. Here are Harrison and Will lining up for their turn. Notice that Harrison is holding Will's hand. He was very firm in telling the other kids to "be careful of my little brother!" As far as he is concerned he is allowed to chase him round the house and whack him but look out if someone else tries to!

Here they are having a great time jumping. Harrison is on the far left and Will is beside him.

The Channel 7 helicopter circled a few times before coming in to land. The children were all sitting on the oval in an arrangement that from the sky looked like a smiley face followed by "Y.S.S" the schools initials and a second smiley face. Harrison was seated in the first smiley face.

We thought it was going to hit the trees for a second!

John Schluter was greeted by the school captains.

He told us to expect some good runoff into the dams from the recent rain.

Will made friends with the 96.5FM dog, Roly.

The kids all had a closer look at the helicopter and it was televised on that nights Channel 7 news. John Schluter had a rather hard time pronouncing the school name though!

Efficient Cleaning

Will enjoys helping Mummy with many things (he's REALLY good if you need a mess made fast, or some rice bubbles demolished) and recently decided her way of doing one cleaning job at a time was just too slow. He decided to multi task and here's what he came up with!

Sam and the Shoes

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Samuel. Most people called him Sam or Sammy.
He often liked to go into the shower with his Mummy and sit on the bottom and play with some toys.
One day, he decided his Mummy was taking a little too long rinsing that bubbly stuff out of her hair and he opened the shower door and escaped.
Mummy hurried out of the shower as fast as she could only to find Sam running naked around the house with a pair of her shoes!
Oh no, what was she to do? Should she grab a towel before he froze to death? Should she take the shoes away before he fell and broke his neck? Nah... she should grab the camera and take a pic! She thought it would make a great one for his 21st Birthday party.
What's the moral of the story...well...
1. always dress up in Mummy's clothes when no-one is there to take pictures
2. If you can't manage that tell your lovely godparents (who just may be named Auntie Lauren, Auntie Clare and Uncle Roche) that it is their duty to stop Mummy from displaying it in 20 years time!

Yellow belt, Green stripe

Harrison is still loving his Karate and recently earned his green stripe for his yellow belt.

Here he is showing Sempai Terry his sidekick.

Sempai Terry presents Harry with his green stripe.

Very proud and also excited...only 2 more stripes to earn on his yellow belt and then he will be graded for his orange belt.

Babies on the Way!

Don't panic everyone... Mummy isn't planning to add to the family! (well not now anyway, but you could probably twist her arm in a few years time!)
The babies we are expecting belong to Barry and Snowy (Harrison's Guinea Pigs)

Here's a pic of Snowy...getting chubby! We can feel the babies moving in her tummy which is really cool and we think we will have some good news for you all in about a weeks time from now.

Harrison has been giving her lots of gentle cuddles and cannot wait to cuddle her babies.

Tennis Courts are lots of fun!

Visiting Uncle Roche and Auntie Kita is always fun...
There's yummy food,

and a cool tennis court to have scooter races on.

Poor Auntie Kita had to race Will minus a scooter!

Daddy, Harrison and Will having a race.

Uh oh...Uncle Roche breaks Harrys lap record (18 seconds) by going around in 16 seconds!

Although apparently Harry disputes that and delcares himself the winner!

Mummy, Auntie Kita and Sam enjoyed the sun and the view.

Then the boys were back on the court to play cricket.

Hmmm.... where's the ball???

Bunny Boy

Some of you might remember my brother Will wearing these bunny pj's (it doesn't seem that long ago!) . They fit me now and I look extremely cute in them!

Mother's Day

We attempt to get a Mummy and her boys pic each Mother's Day. Sometimes its easy and sometimes its hard! This one wasn't too bad.

Then we had Mummy and Daddy's Mums over for Morning Tea. Here's Nana Gay getting a fright from the Dinosaur Hunter.

Queen's Park

On the afternoon of Mother's Day Daddy took us boys out to Queens Park to see the animals and play and give Mummy a few hours of peace and quiet (this seemed to go down very well with her!) .

Harry was more than happy to push Will on the flying fox.

many times over!

Sam enjoyed the slide with Harry.

Especially when he let go!

Hey! What's the deal with this baby slide??? Take me back to the big one please!

Off to see the animals.

Some Ducks and Turtles.

Sam's favourite - the Emu.

A cage to put naughty kids in...and look there's two now!

(Koalas actually)

I don't think we need to say who's favourite the snakes were??

Model Train Show

On the weekend Daddy took me to the Model Train Show. As a die hard train lover I had a really great time!

Here I am driving Thomas.

A train set that even incorporated the CARS characters... they must have known I was coming!

Daddy and I on a real train ride.

Meeting the train driver.

Daddy can you see me driving James all by myself?!

Here are a couple of short video clips of our train ride.
