- Always read the instructions and find out what you need. In this case I need a plastic bottle, a balloon and lots of puff! (BTW - if you do the experiment wearing your pj's this adds style)
2. Stretch the balloon over the neck of the bottle from the inside and blow as hard as you can...nothing happens!!! Well actually something does happen - you get dizzy!
3. Cut a little slit in the side of the bottle (I got my Mum to help with that) and then try to blow again. Wow - the balloon blows up easily!
4. Always record your findings in your notebook - I learned that balloons are much easier to blow up when you don't have air pressure working against you!
I have a really cool science experiment kit (thanks Kristin) and love doing the experiments in it.
