Time sure flies in this busy household! Harrison has just turned 9 and he had a terrific birthday.
Daddy had a day off work and took Harrison and his best mate Niklaus to Wet ‘n’ Wild for the day. It was the perfect day for it, hot and sunny! Harrison impressed Daddy by trying out all the scary slides, even the Kamikaze.
The next day (his actual birthday) Harrison unwrapped the item that had been top of his wish list: A Black Nintendo DS Lite.
He and Will spent the next three hours laying in Mummy and Daddy’s bed playing with it.
Next our extended family arrived to wish Harry a Happy Birthday. He enjoyed opening some more really cool presents: DS games, a hovercraft, lots of lego, Horse Riding Gift Certificate, Money, Monster fridge magnet set and more!
Time for the cake – Mummy became a night owl the previous evening to put together the cake Harrison requested – a piñata cake (nut and egg free so Will could enjoy it too – a nice little challenge to keep her busy).
Ready to blow out the soccer candles (only 3 – Mummy wasn’t game to try and poke 9 of them through her perfect chocolate shell in case it cracked!)
Start smashing!
A bit harder…
Success – cake and lollies inside :)
