Christmas is coming..

There is a lot of excitement in the Garlick household this year. Three children are eagerly awaiting a visit from Santa Claus. We put our tree up nice and early and the kids decorated it all by themselves (as you can see LOL).

Sam is partciularly excited and we think we may need to engage the services of a therapist when Christmas is over as he mentions the Christmas Tree at least 30 times per day and whenever he is not in the room with it sadly shakes his head and says "Mitmas Tree all gone!".

Daddy always places the star on the tree and this year the big boys supported him from the ground while Sam helped up high.

We made our annual visit to Santaland with Nanny and this year we were lucky enough to have Grandad come along too! Here we are waiting to catch the Santa train.

Sam decided he would rather stick with Grandad and watch the train go by with his brothers on it.

Here they come... all the other children came by sitting so nicely and quietly...ours were easily distinguised because they were throwing the snow! They get that from Daddy not Mummy BTW!
Harry's official train picture.
Will's official train picture.
Santa pic - as you can see Will and Harry were right at home and Sam was anxious to be elsewhere!

Time to email Santa...

Wow he emailed us straight back!!

Then it was time to contact Santa the old fashioned way. Harry was busy with his long list.

Will was more interested in the posting part.

Then it was time for some sand art...great fun!

Sam's snowman.

Will's reindeer.

Happy Birthday Melissa!

Our friend Melissa turned 3 a few weeks ago and we attended her party. It was a joint celebration as it was also her cousin Zac's birthday. It was a fairy princess/ Camoflauge party...cool!

Melissa - the birthday girl.

Hannah (Melissa's sister) shows the boys how to play laser skirmish.

Will get his face painted ready to complete the obstacle course in true camo style.

He did a great job of crawling under the net - must be all that practice he has had crawling under Mummy's dining table to hide and eat packets of bsicuits!

The course finished with the jumping castle.

Which was a hit...of course!

Will plays with the train set.

Harrison hides and takes aim with his laser skirmish gun.

Mirvac Christmas Party

The company Daddy works for is called Mirvac and they threw a really cool family Christmas Party this year...

It was held in a park at Kangaroo Point and we caught the ferry there from Southbank.

Sam was very excited about being on the "big boat" and kept telling us so. Daddy was just wishing it was a "big air conditioned boat as it was 39 degrees!

Harry was looking for wildlife as usual... dolphins have been spotted on previosu ferry trips but after all the recent storms the river was really gross (more gross than usual)!

Will loved the ferry and everything he saw was described with typical 3 year old enthusiasm.

First fun thing to do at the party was get a tattoo!

Harry chose a snake (of course). This was later followed by an eagle and a skull and crossbones.

Life Be In It were there with lots of fun things to do including parachute games.

Will tried out lots of unique slide techniques.

Will's turn for a tattoo.

A racing car...of course!

Kicking back in the boat. We were so excited by the endless tubs of soft drinks everywhere!

The jumping castle and the big ball were great fun too.

Being thrown in the air off the trampoline mat was sooo much fun!

Will had a turn too. We think Daddy wanted to also but wouldnt admit it!

Face painting time.

Tri-coloured guinea pig number one (yes the park was filled with spidermans and fairies but we like to be different!)

Tri-coloured guinea pig number two.

Of course a Christmas party is not complete without a visit from Santa and a present to open!

After the party we caught the ferry back to South Bank.

We went on the big wheel which was really cool!

Sammy spotted a lot more "big boats" and Daddy was please to find it was air conditioned!

Harrison and Will said their prayers at the top!

A gorgeous view.

It's a Playgroup Christmas!

This year the playgroup Christmas party was celebrated at Wriggle It Play Centre.

Here are the boys all spiffy and ready to go.

Group shot on the jumping castle.

Eating lots of yummy food was followed by opening fantastic presents!

Harrison and Tyler were very pleased with their games packs.

Grace opens her handbag while Will helps Sam to open his pressie seeing he had opened his own in 2 seconds flat.

Wow - a cool digger for Sam...his secret santa knows him well!

Grace finds a surprise in her handbag...some jewellery and hair ties.

Grace has her bag and is ready to go off and play again.

Tiarna gets a scavenger hunt game, Brieanna now has a new my little pony.

Deagan has some cool Hot Wheels gear and Alex can't wait to try out his water pistol.

Brayden opens his gift (Mummy has forgotten what it was but she remembers he was happy with it!)

What better way to finish off a party than with ice-cream for everyone!!
