Lessons we learned on the beach...

1. Having your cabin 10 steps form the sand is VERY convenient, yet can be a form of torture when your parents make you wait til what they call a "reasonable hour" to go play on it.

2. Big sticks can be really heavy but you can spend a good 2 hours pulling them in and out of the water...who needs sand toys??

3. Yellow is Sam's favourite colour and the yellow bucket belongs to Sam...if you should dare challenge this fact your ear drums will be shattered by instantaneous screams.

4. Kicking your brothers turns out to be good practice for sand that does not want to come out of the bucket.

5. When tipping sand from a bucket you should always stand downwind from it.

6. Sometimes ear splitting screams are not enough of a deterrent when it comes to stealing your brothers bucket.

7. Tongues can really help you to concentrate!

8. If you wait til your brothers back is turned you might be able to pinch his shovel.

9. Putting wet sand all over your boogie board is fun, cleaning it off...not so much fun!

10. Two boogie boards are better than one.

11. Whilst we do not think much of oysters the pelicans sure like them!

12. In fact they queue up for them.

13. They even like it when 3 year old throw them at their head.

14. Little legs can't always keep up.

15. Big crabs live down little holes.

16. Harrison is the only one game enough to hold it long enough for a picture to be taken.
